‘Google for Doodle’ art contest is back! This year, we can accept an unlimited amount of entries instead of only 6! This means all K-8 students have the opportunity to turn in a doodle to the competition! Please encourage your students to try this out. I will also be talking to all of my classes in the art room about this as I see them.
Theme for this year’s contest: “If I could travel in time, I’d visit…” Incorporate your idea in, on, around Google’s logo; or create your own design that forms the letters of Google. Materials used can be: colored pencils, crayons, markers, paint, or using computer drawing or design (anything 2 dimensional!)
Deadline: Return entries to Mrs. Fingland by Friday, March 16th. I will mail them all in as a school. If you are unable to get your doodle to me by then, you may mail it yourself by Tuesday, March 20th.

One (1) National Winner ($30,000 college scholarship, trip to NY,design on the Google homepage, Google computer, Wacom tablet, tshirt with your doodle on it, $50,000 technology grant to school)
